I've been lacking in this whole photography thing. However, next month i'll be taking photos for UC Irvine's Animal Cruelty Club fundraiser. I won't be paid but the experience is nice. Hopefully this will lead to other things in the future. Well, time to build a portfolio and try to work for the campus newspaper.

Shots from my first shoot. The pictures aren't the greatest but the experience was nice. I met some friendly people and I gained some knowledge about photoshoots along the way. Hopefully more opportunities keep popping up.

Pictures were taken with 70-200 f4 and 50 f1.8 on a 1d mk2.

Time to save up money for the stuff on the wishlist. I'm gussing I could get it by the summer if I budget correctly and actually save money this time. Hopefully the portfolio thing will happen, just waiting on viv's friend. By doing this portfolio thing, I hope my name gets out there and it'll lead to more opportunities. Gotta do something other than bio to add some spice to my life haha.

So Chris and I went to Walnut Creek to get some camera stuff. When we got there they told us the lens we were looking for was on back order, so we decided to walk around the town to see if there was anything interesting...there was. We encountered a Japanese mechanic who yelled at us to take photos from a parking garage because of the better view...I couldn't tell if he was angry or not...but here are the photos that I took.

This girl has made my life interesting to say the least. She has done wonders in changing who I am. She's the only person who makes me study, groom myself, and a whole bunch of things that I would never imagine myself doing on my own accord. More importantly, she makes me really happy. I never really appreciated what she has done for me this past year, but she has done a lot and I thank her. My grades have improved, less stress, and a lot happier ever since she came into my life. Well thats it for now. Life is getting better, even though there is other stuff.

Everything will work out with time, love, and patience.

Well, it certainly has been a while since I've touched this thing. Well I took some pictures for my RA so he could make a poster and a compilation album kind of thing for us. It was fun taking pictures again cause my RA Kairo got me some studio lights! My first time working with some form of continuous lighting so it was a nice learning experience. The shots came out okay, i'm messing with the canon photo program to mess around with saturation now and stuff. Never really used PP in any off my pictures but it's nice to learn. The first and third shot have weird backgrounds...should have changed the contrast to create a whiter background but it's okay...I have more to learn.

So, who would have known that this quarters classes would be this time consuming. Well, aside from the fact that my Chemistry professor makes test that have us solve for the cure for cancer, calculus is putting some added pressure as well. It's been a while since I went out smelled the outside air and enjoy a little time taking photos around the suburbs of Irvine. Well, today I went to the civic center to take shoot off some shots and relieve some stress. I've been messing around with black and white lately and here are some of the shots I took at the civic center.
